Donald Trump Jr. will be the first of the Trump clan to be subpoenaed to answer for the Trumps' collusion meeting with the Russians at Trump Tower. I am getting my snacks ready for all of the hearings and trials to come.

The Democrats now control the House of Representatives. The Republicans control the Senate . Under the Constitution the House of Representatives is in charge of impeaching Federal officials.

In stark contrast, Democrats are talking impeachment. I suspect that once they’ve thought the matter through, that’s all it will ever be — talk. I certainly hope the Democrats keep making noise and the media keeps digging into Fords story.
Perhaps the Democrats should consider assigning to committees the job of drafting articles of impeachment, where appropriate, and flooding the Senate with the duty to conduct trials. This would be a constructive and creative way to generate ferment.
