Well that is actually the point of a wall isn't it? to funnel people to a proper opening.
There are walls everywhere in our everyday life. Our homes have 4 walls which force us to use the front door or if you are a criminal you might sneak in through a window.
When life throws up walls you either go around or over them.
If you like Football here is an analogy, the offensive line is a wall and if it holds up against the assault the quarter back has time to function and do his job. If the line/wall fails the bad guys pour through and disrupt the best laid plans of the team.
