It happens time after time-one person, out of the 80 million gun owners in this nation, commits a horrific crime. And liberals scream and carry on using that as an excuse to take away the civil rights of American citizens.

Yet at the same time, whenever a criminal alien commits a horrific crime and slaughters an innocent American, they ignore it, "sweep it under the rug" and make excuses that not ALL criminal aliens are "violent" criminals. THat we must enable them and do nothing to protect American citizens. The recent sad case of a legal immigrant serving as a police officer being murdered by an illegal gets almost no notice on the MSM.

Why is it that liberals seem to be far more concerned with foreign criminals than they are with American citizens? Why are they so willing to take rights away from Americans-but "protect the rights" of foreign criminals for whom they don't apply in the first place?

Let's see some specific examples of Liberals saying we must enable criminal aliens and do nothing to protect American citizens.

Or, is it you who's trying to politicize this issue with yet another ' Damn Liberals! ' whine based on nothing factual?

This old saw is making me weary. The crime rate is lower in the immigrant population. These are not the criminals doing these dreadful mass shooting. https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...tion-myth.html

Why should we be outraged when an illegal kills someone but yet you are not outraged when a home grown terrorist shoots 400 people at a concert or mows down a classroom full of 2nd graders or blows up a Federal building killing 168 people? Who sweeps those murders "under the rug"? Show some consistency if you expect to be taken seriously.

Legal immigrant population and illegal aliens are two completely different groups of people. The wall is not a barrier to legal immigrants, as those people are law-abiding in the first place, and go through a proper port of entry and submit all of the proper paperwork. Not to mention a very large number of legal immigrants arrive by plane.
Conflating legal immigrants with illegal aliens is just a leftist tactic.

so you are saying we should start deporting all American citizens like we do with illegal aliens to prevent potential terrorist acts or killings?

NICE job of failing to mention a large number of illegal immigrants also arrive by plane or by other legal means, then overstay their visas.

Since when has anyone not been upset and deeply saddened by the horrific acts you mention? None of those were "swept under the rug" as you say.

visa overstay = unlawful presence, is a federal crime, has been vetted for criminal and financial backgrounds, biometrics have been collected, has been inspected by CBP for prohibited items at POE

border hopper = improper entry, is a civil matter, has not been vetted for criminal and financial backgrounds, biometrics have not been collected, has not been inspected by CBP

That's one of the reasons Trump's judicial appointments are so important and they are working continuously to put the right people in the courts. In the end that's what will stop the democrats from gun confiscation.
