The UK doesn't have millions of border jumpers who've had no prenatal health care and poor health and lifestyle habits bearing children in their country, as does the US.

LOL, the old 'blame the immigrants' line.....

It failed in this case, because the claim is that UK has been completely overran my migrants, which is why they chose Brexit

That makes their low infant mortality rate even more impressive.

The software and hardware costs millions to implement. Again, results in higher patient bills. Last, but not least....people do not take care of themselves! Poor food choices, drug abuse, obesity, smoking, lack of exercise=sick people that get admitted to hospitals and require surgery. We all have to pay indirectly for the populations poor lifestyle choices.
Unless you work in the Accounts Payable department, how would you know what a hospital pays for supplies?

That you seem to want to create a false perception that PTs need a doctorate says more about you than PTs.

Hospitals tend to hire nurses at all levels of academic accomplishment. Each state determines what each level is permitted to do.

Electronic medical records are efficient.

That 75% of us are overweight/ obese is very much a contributing factor to how much is spent on healthcare. That 10% of the population has been diagnosed with Diabetes says a lot about lifestyle choices. Excess weight is a serious contributing factor to heart disease, stroke, some cancers and joint deterioration.

Stop over testing, too many diagnostics and over treating for every ailment under the sun. Use common sense, too. When someone is 90-95 they should probably think twice about ie heart surgeries, new hips, etc.

Insurance makes a hefty profit by increasing premiums and increasing deductibles that you have to pay. All they do is collect your money, pay the bills, and keep the rest as profit. They do not treat any illness; they just handle the money. No need to have a middle man.

No, I specifically referred to border jumpers. Illegal aliens. They've had no prenatal care, and have poor health and lifestyle habits, all of which makes their births and the subsequent health of their babies much more risky.

Indeed, that is raising the costs for everyone else.

Let's take a look at profit margins, by industry...

Top 10 Most Profitable Industries

I'm not seeing health insurance companies in the list, which means they're not all that profitable.

Do European countries have a 10% illegal alien population, as does the US?
