I believe that is "Garand" Grande usually refers to a taco...…….
I find his statement he is "very familiar" with the M1 "Grande" to be very amusing. And his use of a particular rifle being a "military" weapon at some point bans everything that most people have. All the way back to the Charleville and Brown Bess musket.
Being as our venerable OP is "very familiar" with the "Grande" that should by rote have him versed with the M14 and even Rugers "carbine" the Mini 14. Both use the "Grande" action design. This has long hence turned funny.
Let's start a go fund me for Travis t to get a TV show.
Can you imagine the laughs? Plus he exposes the left's true agenda while trying to talk out both sides of his mouth.
Oh yea. And lets air the show on the Outdoor Channel. In between the IPSC/USPSA championships and some other good shooting show. We could hear folks guffawing from two states away. And have a phone in segment. lol

I am afraid they would all kill themselves before the end of the first season, so it would be a short term success.
Looking down the barrel of a "Grande" or "carbine" can have long term consequences.
You can still get a genuine WWII USGI M1 Carbine in good working order for under $1K. Just, buy one. They are fun little rifles, and parts are plentiful.
Gunbroker.com usually has quite a few up for auction. You can also get brand new reproductions, Auto Ordnance and Inland Manufacturing both make 3-4 different models. A buddy of mine has an M1 carbine made by Underwood Typewriter in 1944. They're a lot of fun to shoot and amazingly accurate.

OK, my bad. I actually had it mixed up with the Starbucks 16 oz. latte, I think. What the heck is a "Garand," anyway.
Very disappointed that I am a lone 'yes' vote in this poll. I guess we have a 30-1 winning margin for those who do not care about gun safety. I am proud to be on the losing end of that score.
I was under the impression that many carbines use pistol ammunition, like the one one of the columbine killers used to do a lot of his damage.
I'm not sure what an in depth knowledge of weapons beyond the basics really has to do with whether or not guns are too plentiful, too easily accessible, and killing people. It's just a deflection by people with a power fetish who want their toys.
"Oh, you didn't know that the AR15 fires a 5.56 and not a 7.62 blah blah, you automatically have no right to talk about guns!!"
Shut up, you childish dope.
