The law did not address the issue of magazines, unfortunately. That may be on the agenda for 2020. The law passed by 60% when put before voters. WA was at one-time, I'm told, the highest per-capita NRA membership of all 50 states. In the past 20 years, we've had a great influx of highly intelligent, highly educated millennial tech workers.

In the eyes of the derelicts in Olympia, yes. The Sheriff in my county (and many others) have refused to enforce it, and there's a lawsuit against it still working it's way through the courts.
