Donald Trump Jr. spoke out against Pelosi’s attempt to delay the speech. In a statement issued to the Daily Caller Wednesday, Don Jr. said Pelosi is terrified his father will get another chance to speak unfiltered about the Democrat Party’s obstruction.
He also said the house speaker’s party becomes more of a political loser as the president continues to shine a spotlight on the human tragedies from its open border policies.

How about McConnell get out of the way and let Congress vote on a bill to open the government? That would work.
Trump's still being seen as the major problem. Plus, he is proudly owning this baby according to his own words.
If Trump wants to give his SoTU address, he can do it from the oval office if he wants. Speaking to Congress is by invitation only, even for the President. He simply is not being invited.
What would be funny is if they did invite him, then all walked out about 10 minutes into the speech, just like he did at the White House.
Incorrect. The US Constitution gives the President the power to call a joint session of congress.
One more case where I have trouble deciding if it's more irony or hypocrisy. Nancy is one of the biggest threats to our civil rights regarding the 2nd. She wants to deny ordinary American citizens the right to protect themselves-while she's too much of a coward to go to work without being surrounded by armed guards. All while doing her best to ensure that violent criminals have free access to this nation.
Thing is, SOTU is an address to the PEOPLE of the United States. Doing so in front of the congressional windbags is a courtesy. Just have it televised direct from the oval office and bypass the children and their temper tantrums.
Oh Lord. So much misinformation. In case you didn't notice, Nancy was at capitol hill today. Did you not see her talking to the press? Nobody wants violent criminals having free access to this nation. Nobody wants open borders, but if you only listen to Trump I guess you wouldn't know that.
Actually the SOTU is held at the invitation of the House and Senate. Trump can go someplace else to hold his rally.

Pelosi is terrified of the truth of the shutdown, and of the numbers of Americans slaughtered at the hands of illegals, being presented directly to the American people. When Trump makes the case directly that Democrats are sacrificing American lives over politics, she and the rest of the party will look like not just fools, but traitors.
She, and the rest of the Dims, can't stand the thought of American citizens hearing the truth, without the MSM to lie and distort it to fit their agenda.
The truth of the government shutdown is that federal workers are hurting and the economy will take a hit if it continues. The truth is the federal workers are saying they can only go on until next Friday, two missed checks. Many are using food banks. Luckily companies such as some banks are waving overdraft fees or loan payments and most cell phone providers are waving late fees for those effected. However items like gasoline they will need to pay on credit. I haven't heard credit card companies allowing federal workers to delay payments for no cost. The shutdown is projected to cost the economy five billion dollars.
