Comedian Liza Treyger appeared on MSNBC Friday night and crushed the idea that Bernie Sanders should seek the presidency in 2020. Treyger said Sanders should fall back and it is time for him to "fade into the background."
"We saw that with the flipping of the House and everyone voting, everyone's really excited with young, female candidates, especially women of color," Treyger said on 'The Beat' with host Ari Melber.
"I'm sorry guys I’m just sick of old white dudes. Go away," she concluded.
whether you agree or like Bernie Sanders, this is the way to go? No one on the panel challenged this?
No candidates should go away because of their race, gender, or age. Voters can decide what they want.
And as someone who thinks a woman could be president, I am not "looking" for a female candidate, or a candidate of any particular race or age. If I think the best candidate is an old white guy every time I vote, that doesn't make me sexist or racist, it just means the other candidates didn't have a message I supported.
Remember, if you are voting against an old white guy simply because you are tired of seeing old white guys elected, you are a racist. If you vote against them because you don't like their message or someone thats not an old white guy has a better message, you are a voter.
All these progressive liberals complaining about there being too many white males running for president need to realize that you can't control how diversity will play itself out. Diversity will actually be more unpredictable in a diverse society.
I'm sorry guys. I'm just sick of dumb, racist, SJWs. Go away.
