At what amount should the minimum wage stop at?

The minimum wage can't just keep increasing. At some point it has to stop. We can't have a $25 minimum wage. Too many jobs won't be worth that much.

There shouldn't be a minimum wage. There, I said it.

There definitely shouldn't be a federal minimum wage. With the vast disparity in cost of living from one state to the next, if you're going to have one it should be at the state level (note that I am also opposed to a minimum wage). $15 an hour is nothing in NYC or San Francisco, but is practically middle class in some of the more rural/southern states.

I'm just trying to figure out how some support minimum wages, while at the same time supporting illegal immigration and cheap labor that's not on the books.

I agree $15 is too high for a national standard. While I think it should be raised, IMO $10, or $12 at the most, would be OK.

I mean if you believe in the concept, it needs to adjust for inflation so sure it will someday hit 20.

But raising it can also artificially cause inflation so...

Companies offering their employees $15-$20 an hour , it's not going to be full time , the hours will be cut to part time which means they won't get benefits , theyd better off with min wage , full time with benefits .

I SECOND THAT!!!!

There should be no FEDERAL minimum wage. Each state should set, or not set, their wages.

People can move to whichever state they want (vote with their feet) to better their lives.
