Hint; Dems didn't take the house until Jan 3. A full 12 days AFTER the shutdown started.
Clearly you don't understand the definition of control or how government is structured or works.

The talking points BS is unimpressive and uninformed.

If that were the case there is a way to deal with it. ( hostage taking ) The Dems are not serious negotiator's and turn a blind eye to the situation and any progress. The Dems are no more effective than a speed bump slowing progress. In the end there will be a solution arrived at. One way or another. Right now the Dems want no part in a solution. They offer nothing.

The Dems have rejected all recommended solutions to hostage negotiations.
Educate yourself and the Dems on recommended ways to deal with the situation.

Talking Trump alone can fix it

That's what he tells us.

And he says he only attracts "the best people in the world!"

Seems all the "good guys" have just simply gotten sick of the criminal stench in tRump's WH and walked away on their own; Cohn, Mattis, Kelly, McMaster.

So, who are all these screwballs he's placed in his cabinet?

His inner circle is a bunch of felons, grifters and wife beaters. How many have already been convicted? How many others have been forced out when their "questionable" backgrounds were made public?

It's hard to get an accurate count.

We don't negotiate with terrorists and hostage takers.

Get what you want THROUGH THE CONGRESS. That's the legal channel. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say, "if the President gets butthurt because he didn't get his way, then he shall shut down the government and use Americans' livelihoods as collateral.". That's a new one on you guys.

And you had GOP controlled House, Senate, and White House for TWO YEARS. Couldn't pass it then? Tough. Accept your loss and move on.

Trump is doing a great job. God bless him. Finally someone comes along to drain the swamp. Great economy..strengthening our military. Stern on securing our borders. Best president in years. Nothing but love and respect for him. Poor democrats seething with hate.

(Trump doesn’t make mistakes, only the people defeated to carry out his mission do).
GOD ALONE can fix it (Trump alone can fix everything).
GOD - have faith, believe in spite of what you see and what you hear (Trump don’t believe what you see and what you hear).

These peoples warped perception of their belief have made them accepting of these things
It makes sense. Growing up fundamentalist Baptist and still being stuck living in Oklahoma, I am very familiar with Trump's base and how they see the world. Their "Christianity" places greater emphasis on the Old Testament God and his laws and judgments than it does the actual words and teachings of Jesus. So yes, Trump is very much like the god they worship.

So what you are basically saying is, Trump caused the shutdown--which you readily admit--so now it's everyone else's responsibility to end it? Why is not the responsibility of the person who caused it to end it as well?
