We have large judgements to try and dissuade the actions of the business here. If the only recourse is getting your job back no lawyer would ever take the case. A business doesn't care about any agreements because the ramifications of breaking it means little to them.

Only the State still has the power to enslave us peasants and it does so by stealing from us (taxation). Nobody else has the power to force you to do anything.
The employer created a situation whereby they hired her knowing she wouldn't work on Sundays.
They accommodated her for years.
They chose to break the agreement and fired her for following the original agreement.
Things change in businesses. Didnt someone say say there was new management. I dont think they made an agreement with her. But again, it seems more about a verbal agreement not a religious accommodation.
Actually, this will most likely be overturned on appeal. Plus, there is a cap on punitive damages, $300,000.
I think she probably will receive some monetary compensation, but not the amount her lawyer was asking for.
