lol

I have no idea where she's going, but she's not staying in DC and doing her job, that much is clear.
It's also clear she's traveling on her own dime... she doesn't have 100 family members with her!

Pelosi has been using the military as her personal airline for years.

Judicial Watch... has obtained documents from the Department of Defense (DOD) detailing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s multiple requests for military air travel. The documents, obtained by Judicial Watch through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), include internal DOD email correspondence
  • In response to a series of requests for military aircraft, one Defense Department official wrote, “Any chance of politely querying [Pelosi’s team] if they really intend to do all of these or are they just picking every weekend?…[T]here’s no need to block every weekend ‘just in case’…” The email also notes that Pelosi’s office had, “a history of canceling many of their past requests.”
  • One DOD official complained about the “hidden costs” associated with the speaker’s last minute changes and cancellations. “We have…folks prepping the jets and crews driving in (not a short drive for some), cooking meals and preflighting the jets etc.”
  • The documents include a discussion of House Ethics rules and Defense Department policies as they apply to the speaker’s requests for staff, spouses and extended family to accompany her on military aircraft. In May 2008, for example, Pelosi requested that her husband join her on a Congressional Delegation (CODEL) into Iraq. The DOD explained to Pelosi that the agency has a written policy prohibiting spouses from joining CODEL’s into combat zones.

Maybe she called Trump and said -- are you meeting me this week end -- he said nope Melania's out of town and I've got some Fox News to watch and some tweeting -- see you Monday.

EXACTLY!! There was never any need for her to travel on a tax payer funded junket to Afaghanistan or Belgium. Every thing she says she needed to do could have been handled via video. She could have done a FaceTime feed and told the military members "thanks". Any briefings she needed from military officials could also have been handled in a secure briefing room via video. Almost every single bit of this overseas travel congress is absolutely unnecessary. A total waste of money.

And Trump had no need to go to Irag

And Trump had no need to host the Clemson Tigers.

See how it works?

Yeah, because she is paying for herself. When she flies military on our dime, it's party time.

Not really. Only if you are intellectually dishonest.

Definitely not doing her job, but I guess that's nothing new. But I'd rather she pay for her own way skipping out. Looks like the luggage is a bit less, I'd guess she isn't concerned about President Trump's announcement at 3:00 PM.

Definitely not comparable.
Charlottesville, not Chancellorsville

(the whole 'very fine people on both sides putting his foot in his mouth' thing was in Charlottesville)

Looks like she totes her own bag and has the technology at her finger tips to be informed about Trump's big announcement at 3 pm.

With MLK Day on Monday, it's a long weekend, and while she had planned to work, that's been called off. So, she is free to go about her own business. With the nasty weather that's expected, why would she stay in DC when she could be with family and friends?

Melania's in Mar-A-Lago enjoying the balmy weather and the protection of unpaid Secret Service agents.

Poor Trump. He's stuck all alone in the WH again.

Womp. Womp.
