Republicans aren’t friends of liberty.

The Republicans love to talk and talk and talk somemore. They had nearly 2 years to get something done at the border and Paul Ryan wouldn't touch it because it is such a dividing controversial topic.

I do have to hand it to the Dems, when they are for or against something they present a united party whereas the Reps are all wishy washy.

Obama didn't even know what a bump stock was and they had not been used in a deadly shooting at the time so why would he ban the add on piece of plastic that hardly anyone uses? Banning bump stocks was actually nothing but a feel good move because a rubber band can produce the same results as can a really fat stomach that the rifle can recoil from.

Bush signed it because it was a popular thing to do and he was trying to appease the Left.

Reagan signed it because he and Brady were shot.

Republicans are friends of Liberty when they can actually take a stand with it depending on which way the political wind is blowing that day....

Junk article. 100% speculation. It doesn't name one single proposal that the Democrats have put forward, much less any so-called threat to the 2A. Waste of time and bandwidth.

This same argument was made when the (D)'s had power before and nothing happened. They note that Obama created all these agencies but nothing changed.

The NRA wouldn't get attacked politically if they weren't so blatantly political themselves. I support the 2nd but I do not support the NRA's hypocrisy.

No, none of this is a so-called threat to the 2nd Amendment. It's just a figment of our imagination, waste of time and bandwidth. Junk article. 100% speculation.

And in the meantime, there are some specific things that we can do with legislation.”--Bobby Rush, (D) U.S. Representative from Illinois

"A gun-control movement worthy of the name would insist that President Clinton move beyond his proposals for controls ... and immediately call on Congress to pass far-reaching industry regulation like the Firearms Safety and Consumer Protection Act ... [which] would give the Treasury Department health and safety authority over the gun industry, and any rational regulator with that authority would ban handguns."
- Josh Sugarmann (executive director of the Violence Policy Center)

"We need a new paradigm because both sides are in the corner and they could come to the middle," Schumer said. "Those of who are pro-gun control have to admit that there is a Second Amendment right to bear arms... once we establish that there is a constitutional right to bear arms we should have the right admit, and maybe they'll be more willing to admit, that no amendment is absolute after all."--Chuck Schumer, (D) U.S. Senator from New York

But certainly, the Australian example is worth considering."----Hillary Clinton (D) Former Secretary of State and Democrat candidate for president.

George Stephanopoulos pushed Clinton twice on whether people have a right to own guns on ABC News’ "This Week": “But that's not what I asked. I said do you believe that their conclusion that an individual's right to bear arms is a constitutional right?” Clinton could only say: “If it is a constitutional right...”

Does these quotes sound like speculation?

Bill Clinton, Former President of the United States “Only the police should have guns.”

Rep Schakowsky a true tyrant for her hypocrisy when it comes to guns it's “behind closed door meetings.” Or behind our back.

Dianne Feinstein on national TV outright calls for gun bans. In her 1995 60 Minutes Interview she said "If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an out right ban, picking up every one of them....Mr. and Mrs. America, turn them all in. I would have done it. I could not do that. The votes weren't here. Banning guns addresses a fundamental right of all Americans to feel safe.” She has written bills time and time again. Each bill list more guns to ban. What is the kicker, she carries a handgun 24/7. Maybe she thinks she is in a different class than we are. Feinstein also said on April 10 2019 “The National Guard fulfills the militia mentioned in the Second amendment. Citizens no longer need to protect the states or themselves.” This is the same garbage my child's text books feeds them.

Jan Schakowsky, U.S. Representative from Illinois “I believe…..this is my final word……I believe that I’m supporting the Constitution of the United States which does not give the right for any individual to own a handgun….” That isn't what the Supreme Court says. Just another tyrant

Frank Lautenberg, U.S. Senator from New Jersey “We have other legislation that all of you are aware that I have been so active on, with my colleagues here, and that is to shut down the gun shows.”

Charles Pashayan, U.S. Representative from California “All of this has to be understood as part of a process leading ultimately to a treaty that will give an international body power over our domestic laws.” Only California could muster up one so treasonous.

Pete Stark, U.S. Representative from California “If a bill to ban handguns came to the house floor, I would vote for it.”

William Clay, U.S. Representative from Missouri ” …we need much stricter gun control, and eventually should bar the ownership of handguns”

Joseph Biden, Vice President of the United States “Banning guns is an idea whose time has come.”

John Chafee, Former U.S. Senator from Rhode Island “I shortly will introduce legislation banning the sale, manufacture or possession of handguns (with exceptions for law enforcement and licensed target clubs)… . It is time to act. We cannot go on like this. Ban them!”

Major Owens, U.S. Representative from New York “We have to start with a ban on the manufacturing and import of handguns. From there we register the guns which are currently owned, and follow that with additional bans and acquisitions of handguns and rifles with no sporting purpose.”

Ther are 4 types of gun grabbers. Tyrants, the ignorant, ones that have been convicted of a crime losing their gun rights, and unlike the tyrants craving power ones craving money

You have the 'I want to keep you safe by taking the tools you use to keep you and your family safe' tyrants.

Then you have the ignorant as Rosie O’Donnell, “I think there should be a law — and I know this is extreme — that no one can have a gun in the U.S. If you have a gun, you go to jail. Only the police should have guns."

You have your criminals. Barbara Graham, speaker at the “Million Mom March” in 2000, was convicted of shooting and paralyzing for life a man she mistook as one who had killed her son.
In Fort Collins, a woman who opposes the right of self-defense struck a member of the Tyranny Response Team with a clipboard.
At a rally in Boulder early in 2000, Robert Howell, vice president of the anti-gun Boulder Bell Campaign, attacked Shariar Ghalam, bloodying his nose. (Ghalam was carrying a concealed handgun but never drew it, not believing his life was in danger.)
In the summer of 2000, supporters of the anti-gun Million Mom March stole supplies from the Second Amendment Sisters and vandalized SAS property.
Ari Armstrong, a pro-civil rights activist in Colorado, received threatening telephone calls allegedly from members of S.A.F.E (an anti-gun group) after Ari appeared on television promoting firearm freedoms.

and you have your greedy. The darlin of DC Sarah Brady pays her self $900,000 a year off the top of her donations

What do all these wastes of good dirt but the ignorant have in common? They all use fear to reach their goal including out right lies. Do words as Saturday Night Special, Plastic Gun, Cop Killing Gun, Cop Killing Bullets, and Semi-Automatic Assault Weapon scare you? All these words were coined in the back room of the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence. It takes a lot of fear to keep Sarah living the life she is accustom. The name of her group is the same as the bills our Congress pass into law. They are named exactly what they are not. As everywhere they have gotten one of their worthless laws passed violent crime has risen. In some places it has gone up so high I don't know how they can sleep at night with all the carnage on their hands.

But in a way you are right. There are close to 400 million firearms in the US. Much thanks to the leftist and future felon Obama. The latest scar words are Super Gun Owners. Someone who owns 10 or more guns. There are around 4 to 5 million of them and all believe in the old 'out of my cold dead hand'. Who will be stupid enough to take on disarming America? Cops or our military who both favor an armed population? Not in a million years. Oh their might be a few but they will soon realize we are not British or Australians.

We can stop the madness by deporting these Leftist, Socialist, Communist, and the ones too stupid to know they will never be ignorant. Deport them 200 miles West of San Francisco allowing them to only take with them their chains and lead weights.

That reminds me of these memes where the girl complain then cops are racists and only cops should have guns and a second meme where it said no one blame the gun when cops shoot people. https://imgflip.com/i/24xg0b

Look at any state, city, town or even a small committee ran by Democrats. Ruined. Look at who runs the top 10 cities for murder in the US. Cities with the most government dependents and no jobs. Democrats say they are the party of the poor and they are Hell bound to keep them that way by blaming all but the guilty for these people despair.

All 68 welfare programs have shown to make one worse off than before going on the program. The only program to lift one out of poverty was workfare. But the democrats would have none of that so obama illegally ended that program. You would think these people would one day get a clue. You know genocide does have some good points.

Right wing media commentators and opinion writers have made a mint beating the they're coming for your guns drum. The idea that the Second Amendment is in jeopardy is ridiculous.
