They will never give up! Time for RBG to retire and let's get another conservative, who understands the Constitution, for SCOUS!

When Democrats took control of the U.S. House as a result of last November’s election, many Republicans assumed, perhaps optimistically, the danger presented by this new liberal majority would come primarily from legislation passed thanks to their newly-acquired majority; legislation that would be blocked by either the Senate or the White House. Yet, for those like myself who have served in the House of Representatives and know the full force of the House is not necessarily in the legislation brought to the floor, but in the various committees that wield enormous power for the majority party, we warned that there would be consequences; in particular for the Second Amendment.

Riddle me this?

If republicans were the party of the second amendment, why didn’t we get concealed carry reciprocity & the hearing protection acts passed when they had full control of the congress and the White House?

Why did evil Barry allow bump-stocks & white-knight trump ban them?

Why did bush offer to sign an extension of the AWB?

Why did Reagan-the-great sign the Brady bill?

Republicans aren’t friends of liberty.

What did you expect? These leftist radicals hate law-abiding American citizens. They prove it daily.

When it comes to the Second Amendment, Republicans are FAR preferable to Democrats. There is no comparison, so please stop with the false equivalency.

Exactly. They aren't perfect but they are a far cry better than the Democrats when it comes to the 2A

The Supreme Court has been pretty consistent for over a century that the 2nd Amendment is not some absolute right. There are limits.

The battle is not about removing the 2nd Amendment at all, though the NRA would LOVE for you bots to continue to believe that. The political wrangling is about where the line is on what can be had, when and by whom. It is that simple.

Vague speculation in an opinion piece is proof that Democrats are readying a multi-pronged attack on the Second Amendment?
