California has a robust economy because it is diversified across so many sectors.
Texas is a one-trick pony. They do oil and gas, and that's just about it.
China’s economy is much larger than California’s. And it’s an oppressive crap hole just like California.

When California’s real estate market collapses it will create another recession for the US.

If you live in California, sell now.

You forgot Tennessee in this list here too, with no state income tax, either.

Op seems to not understand Texas has high local Texas to offset that missing income tax, as well as high property taxes.
IMP, that's not the only thing not understood if the OP thinks TX's economy is supported by a "one trick pony" of oil and gas and "that's abut it."

Pressure ulcers are something that immobile people get in long term care. UC Davis does not have long term care centers, the article is written for residents so that they will be familiar with an know how to treat them.

Why you thought otherwise is perplexing.

Some University of California hospitals let their patients in wallow in such filth that pressure sores are an epidemic. What good is a low uninsured rate if many of the hospital run by the University of California can't even make an effort to clean their patients so they don't get severe pressure ulcer's all over their patients.

Why are dumpy, third-world hospitals like UCI Orange even in business let alone teaching students how to practice medicine when they could care less about well over 3% of patients getting bedsores from University of California neglect and mismanagement.

UC Irvine Hospital in Orange is the one with the widespread bedsore problem from high compensated employees ignoring rampant neglect.

UCSF seems like a good hospital. But UCSD and UCI provide third-world health-care.

UCI has ultra-high mortality rates and a rampant bed sore issue from neglect.

You did see that the national average is 2.5% i.e. not just California. It may be slightly higher than average, but as this shows, they are working on education and reducing that rate.

CA has grown every year since it's founding. I don't think California should be compared to Texas or any other state for that matter. California's on a different level. Just look at silicon valley it's literally the envy of every country on Earth. $3 trillion Mark here we come let me know when any other state even reaches $2 trillion.

I don't think there are too many redneck hillbillies with houses along the lakeshore in Incline, in MacDonald Highlands overlooking the DragonRidge Country Club in Henderson, along the lakeshore in Medina, nor bordering the beach in Palm Beach .
