Actually, it's people with a modicum of intelligence from both parties (which thankfully is at least a slight majority) vs. Trump and his sycophantic followers (who hate all things brown except their own noses).
Bring lawyers, guns and money, the skit (substitute an h) has hit the fan.
It's true the establishment has never accepted the results of the last Presidential election and is busy implementing the treasonous insurance plan discussed in Andy's office.

So it has come to this: The president of the United States was asked over the weekend whether he is a Russian agent. And he refused to directly answer....
The White House has begun recruiting soldiers. The new White House counsel, Pat Cipollone, has hired 17 new lawyers, according to The Post, as he prepares for a barrage of subpoenas from House Democratic committee chairmen. But Mr. Trump’s inner circle has shrunk, and he has fewer advisers around him whom he trusts. His White House chief of staff is still serving in an acting capacity, and the West Wing is depleted by the shutdown. As he himself wrote on Twitter this weekend, “There’s almost nobody in the W.H. but me.”
Peter Strzok, Andrew McCabe, Bruce Ohr, Nellie Ohr, Lisa Page, John Brennen, James Comey, Sally Yates, Loretta Lynch, Glenn Simpson, et.al, have acted in support of what we now know is the "insurance policy" developed "in Andy's office" by Peter Strzok and Andrew McCabe to counter the will of the voters in electing Donald Trump president.
It is effectively an attempted coup.
You can support the coup or you can bloviate about tyrants and the Constitution, but you don't get to do both.
Another tin foil hat conspiracy theory. Comey was the patriot, through and through. Trump was acting like a Russian asset (and still is), members of Trump's campaign were meeting with known Russian intelligence officials, so of course Comey and others are going to make sure nothing is going on. The Trumpy right has fallen sway to a demagogue and will believe anything he tells you. There is no conspiracy, just as there was no communist conspiracy behind the Reichstag fire when Hitler took over the country. This is well worn despot material - cook up a story of evil forces trying to bring the government down so they can clean house and get everyone out of the way who might actually question the ethics and the legality of what he is doing, not to mention the wisdom of stabbing our long time allies in the back. Democracy here in America only works with checks and balances to keep the nut cases like Nixon and Trump from running amok. The FBI and special counsels are part of those checks. They should get a medal.

If Comey had done his job from the start, it's far less likely that Trump is president today. If he would have done his job, Hillary is out of the picture.
Look. When one side won't accept the results of an election, that's essentially a civil war.
When a president attacks over half of the citizenry in the country with a daily barrage of insults, threats and offensive comments, that is essentially a civil war.

That's silly. Trump is much better (or less bad) for the nation than any of the other candidates. For starters, he's actually open to the idea that there *is* a nation whose interests matter more than those of the hundreds if millions of "brown people" who want to come here and, ultimately, will turn our country into another s**thole. He thinks we should have a border! Is having a border smart, or stupid? Yeah, a really tough question.
If you can't see (or don't care about) the fact that Trump is better than the alternatives for this nation, then (a) you're a member of an ethnic group that benefits ethnopolitically from immigration, or (b) you're brainwashed. It doesn't make you stupid. And it is a testament to the power of the brainwashing that you presume your opponents -- who are acting rationally using a more accurate (though imperfect) view of the world -- are stupid.
And why would you even mention brown people? If you're an intelligent black or white American, you want to keep brown people out of the country. They decrease our wealth and political power.
