This is going to destroy Buzzfeed, though, if they do turn out to be wrong.
Can't help wondering if they were set up. Whomever they sourced this from had to be someone they really, really trusted. If this was false, the chances are good they got deliberately played. Can't wait to see how this all works out in the end.

The story has to be completely fabricated for Mueller to release a statement like this. Special counsels rarely if ever? confirm or deny media reports.

I think for Mueller to actually have made a statement, the inaccuracies must have been in the more important details. I doubt he would have sweated the small stuff.

But lets throw the trumpers a bone, they have had a pretty rough week so they need to make themselves believe this somehow "clears Trump".... of course Mueller has merely stated that it is not accurate, he did not say it is false.....
