The only ones who are to blame for this are the chaperones. They never should have allowed the students to wear those stupid ballcaps, remember this is a school outing not a political assembly, and they should have been in full control of the students every minute and should moved them on immediately. Shame on them and hopefully the school will never allow them to chaperone again. And unlike what the OP said, the boys are not innocent. The openly had a hand in this.

Their standard bearer is a treacherous sociopathic moron so what else should we expect?

This weekend, D.C. is unusually crowded. The third Women's March is happening Saturday, but on Friday it was preceded by the long-running anti-abortion March for Life and the Indigenous Peoples March. For the people attending the latter, it's an especially fraught time as the government shutdown is interfering with many basic services for Native Americans. This comes months after the Supreme Court ruled against Native voting rights in North Dakota, and just days after the president cracked jokes on Twitter about historic massacres. https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/maga...182138098.html
And I just read that the elderly man is a veteran of Viet Nam but these dumbed-down punks are proudly wearing the hat of Cadet Bone Spurs. Talk about Idiocracy...
Watch the video and it's obvious that the teen and the teens around him we're ridiculing and trying to intimidate the old guy. Old guy was apparently launching into some peace chant bc of escalating conflict he was observing between this group of teens and others at this event.
Not saying the old guy made the best choices or that the young guys assaulted him, so it's not a criminal thing. But it's also painfully clear that these young white kids in MAGA hats have not been raised to have basic respect for others, particularly elders. They didn't have to come with such arrogance, ridicule, and confrontation.
Unfortunately, they learned this behavior by observing old Deplorables in MAGAA hats, who also model basic respect for others. And that starts with the disrespectful, deplorable troll in the White House. It's a shame that this kind of behavior is now supported by a segment of adults.

Bull. Nobody would say boo if they were Obama hats.
That’s exactly right as far as I can tell. This incident appears to have been misrepresented by the left to fit their agenda, only because some in the crowd were wearing MAGA hats. That’s it. The left once again lying and making up stories for their agenda.
It looks like everyone sees what they want to see on the videos.
