She doesn't appear much concerned with the 800,000 folks not being paid. More important to her that President Trump not get a wall .... it might work.

Which is why I am also not concerned about that.

Exactly.

Both sides care more about being seen as the winner than they do actually ending the shutdown.

Lest anyone forget, this entire shutdown is the brainchild of Donald J Trump, no one else. He "proudly" took possession of it and could stop it with one phone call. Nancy is simply responding to his unreasonable demands by saying "no". In any negotiation , one side proposes something, and the other can accept or turn it down..…..that is how it works.

This is all Donald Trump's baby here, and he is reaping the rewards of his stubborn, stupid, inexperienced approach to this situation. He thought he could bully the Democrats into giving him his wall by playing hardball, but he is doing it at what cost ? Lots of hard working people are suffering because he wants to be Mr. Big Shot Negotiator and tyrant.

He said this was his doing, and it is, 100%, lock, stock, and barrel.

Pretty much anyone is better at their job than Trump is. He was a sub-par businessman, and now he's on track to go down in history as the worst president ever.

My plumber is better at his job than Trump is at his.

Pelosi is doing what Democrats have been asking her to do for the last 2 years. Grow a backbone and stand up to the lying NRA and Russia sponsored GOP especially Individual 1. She is working for the people that voted for the Blue Wave in 2018. She is doing a good job, finally!

The difference is if Trump wins it save lives on both sides of the border.

If Nancy wins the killing continues on both sides of the border.

Small insignificant difference to some but not all.

Yep, and it scares the people on the Right to death, especially Donald Trump. Nancy and Chuck have shown a united front that isn't going to cave into the ravings of a madman.

Nice to see some courage and conviction in the House for a change.

That is not true. This is, and will always be known as, the Trump Shutdown.

He claimed ownership promising it would be the bestest shutdown ever! He loves it--keeps the Mueller pressure to a minimum.

And, Pelosi is not alone. The Democrats stand behind her, and if she gives in on the wall, she will lose votes from their base. She and the House passed a bill to open the government. Why won't Trump sign the bill that the entire Congress voted for in December, and Trump was about to sign, when Rush and Coulter opened their big traps and voila--Trump changes his mind. Cause and effect.

The government shutdown could be ended quite easily if Rush and Coulter would let Trump sign the bill.

No, no, no, Mike, you aren't going to spin this one around. YOUR BOY proudly proclaimed this is HIS shutdown. He owns it completely.
