Whether or not you think what you're doing is the right thing, you have to admit the whole "we must protect people from themselves" concept is crazy and a line needs to be drawn. What are we going to do next? Ban fast food because it's bad? I don't eat fast food and am a health freak, but I'm not going to impose my lifestyle on anyone.

I just had to ask...doesnt the Capital have the highest violent crime rate in the country and that they are rethinking the ban on guns there?

I used to live in Maryland and on the news every night they would have the murder count in Washington D.C. it was kind of like a contest to see if they could beat the last year.
