I stop trusting them since 1991 when they push for the Iraq war and were nothing more than cheerleaders for the federal government. Now they are worse but the positive thing is that now they are so obvious and anybody that still defend them and say we have a free independent media is a fool or getting paid by them.
I remember in 1991, how CNN and the rest of the media were treating the American bombing pilots that came back from bombing Iraq like a hero's welcome like they just won the Super Bowl. They never reported of the Iraqi deaths and cities and homes destroyed because of the bombings.
They just repeated what the Pentagon and generals told them with no questions and never challenge the government like they do Trump 24/7. It was sad.
