Two so far. Will more Republicans see the light?

Quote:

Two Republican Senators to Break With Trump, Vote to End Government Shutdown WITHOUT Border Wall Funding

At least two Republican senators say they will vote Thursday afternoon for one of two opposing spending bills that do not provide money for President Donald Trump’s border wall and would fund the government through February 8.

A spokesman for Republican Cory Gardner of Colorado told several outlets that he plans to vote for the clean continuing resolution, in addition to Republican Senator Susan Collins of Maine, who said she plans to vote for both spending bills. It's unclear how Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, who is often one of the swing GOP voters in the Senate, will vote.

Good ol' Cory.

Sure, that's what he says, but the interview he gave this morning on my local news station was as mealy-mouthed as ever.

After the 2018 mid-terms, he's desperate to look like he isn't marching in lock-step with the president but, nothing is going to save his butt in 2020.

Nothing.

I don't care what happens in 2020. I want the government open NOW.

4 total actually. 2 traitors in Murkowski and Collins that was expected I hope both are primaried and gotten rid of,not sure why Cotton or Lee voted no. Isakson voted FOR the leftist bill...time for Isakson to retire (he does have Parkinson's disease) or be primaried by someone farther right. So tired of RINO'S being elected.

Do us a favor and retire him in 2020? He is a FAKE republican! I would rather have a legit enemy in a democrat senator than a GOP senator that stabs us in the back.

I think that depends on how much longer this goes on for.

The Dem bill got more votes in the Republican senate than Trump's bill. Anti-immigration senators on the right want nothing to do with any compromise that includes DACA. This means senate Dems will be calling the shots in any negotiations that involve immigration law changes.

So far, in spite of the repubs gaining 2 seats in the senate last year, it seems little has changed.
