Give it a rest and stop with the exaggeration, you clearly don't know what's in the The Reproductive Health Act.
For the record, The Reproductive Health Act does three things:
First, it strips abortion from the state's criminal code and places it entirely within the realm of public health law.
Second, it expands who can perform the procedure from beyond just physicians to any licensed, certified or authorized health care practitioner for whom abortion is within their scope of practice.
Finally, it legalizes abortion after 24 weeks in cases where it would protect a woman's health or where a fetus is not viable. State law previously only allowed abortions after 24 weeks if the woman's life was in jeopardy.
Clearly, you either can’t grasp the dastardly significance of these things, or you think everyone else is rather dull ...
Let me further “define” those 3 items presented ....
1) removing abortion from criminal penalty literally makes abortion a free-for-all ... meh ... no big deal? It’s a BIG DEAL.
2) means we can expect abortion “jiffy lube” service, and a new career path for thousands to become certified baby grim reapers. Charming indeed.
3) this removes ALL restrictions, and “after 24 months” is synonymous with “up to seconds before birth”, it just may not sound quite as disgusting. Also, the verbiage about “protecting the woman’s health” could be applied in 100% of all pregnancies.... since there are risks associated with having babies, just as there are risks in taking an aspirin.
For those who don’t believe dark souls walk among us ... this is more evidence.
Imagine the religious nuts telling men they need to be celibate and only have sex if they intend to procreate. Yeah, that would go over well. You'll note that that is NEVER suggested.
It is a policing of sex. It's obvious when forced-birthers are coming at people who have had abortions by calling them "loose women." That, to them, is the biggest shame they can think of. Note that there's not a word of negativity about the man involved. It's women who should be celibate until they day they are ready to give birth, not men.

Organized religion has been demonizing women for millennia. The entire Christian creation story is based on an evil woman who disobeyed the authoritarian male god and plunged humanity into despair. It's a shame that thousands of years later people still buy into this crap, but the religious right certainly does. This thread is ample proof of that.
"DESPICABLE. The One World Trade Center is lit up pink tonight to "celebrate" the passage of a bill in New York legalizing abortion until birth for any reason."
"New York leadership cheers today for the legalization of killing a baby old enough to be born - poisoning a 6-month-old to death in the womb & delivering her in pieces.
This is the legacy of Roe v. Wade. It's time to end this barbarism."
Is it any wonder why our country is so messed up?
I was going to post that in response, Iowa could light up a corn silo, but I see that law was struck down.
Show us these figures, from a credible source. I don't regret mine. I know three other women who have had abortions and the don't regret it either. Let's see your figures.
Thanks for sharing that disgusting personal decision. Says a lot about you.

I'll also add that the idea of life upon conception is purely a Christian one.
In Judaism, that is a designation given at birth and fetuses are not considered legally a person. I consulted my rabbi prior to my abortion and, given what my medical team said about my health, my rabbi told me that many interpretations of Jewish law would say that an abortion was *mandatory* in my case.
Prohibiting access to medical care is quite literally against my religion.

Where are your figures?
