It has everything to do with fear. That's the main talking points of the some of right-wing media.

Lightbulb Why do so many people hate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?

The right hates her because they fear her.

She's young, enthusiastic, energetic and photogenic.

Totally unlike the GOP's brain trust.

AOC secured a spot on The House Financial Services Committee. Their fear and negative rhetoric will really go up.

I don't fear her... I fear her constituents more. Guess I shouldn't, because in 12 years they'll all be gone anyway....

Well, that Gillette ad may have been a little more triggering

AOC has plenty of free advertising from Fox News because of it

Ya gotta love the hard-left stance the Democratic Party is taking
I find it amusing that libs contend conservatives "fear" Ms. Cortez. I fear her about as much as I would fear Curly Howard in a similar role (Cortez is actually about as funny as Curly!).

We "1%ers" are pretty well insulated from leftist political agendas, even if they were implemented to their full extent. Until ownership of property is "nationalized" or confiscation of existing wealth is implemented, we are relatively unaffected by taxation on income, as most of us would just quit working without any change in lifestyle, due to investment income. At that point, there would no longer be a United States anyway, so I don't think anyone needs to worry.

I really enjoy Ms. Cortez, as she has made some of the most hilarious statements I have heard coming from any politician since Hank Johnson. If a politician is crazy, they should at least be funny so we have a few laughs over it. The Senate, as it will usually be controlled by the republicans, given that the land mass of the US is not liberal, will always be a body that would prevent radical socialist agendas from the House. It is similar to the House of Lords vs the House of Commons in England. The House of Commons often wants crazy agendas initiated, but they are not supported by the House of Lords, so that nothing happens. Similarly, a radical leftist agenda will never be initiated in the US, despite the heartfelt wishes of leftist radicals.

I don't follow a lot of her stories, so I am indifferent on her. However, that "We’re, like, the world is going to end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change" is stupid because the world could end tomorrow or 100 years from now. I will say that she is smoking hot!

She's a woman, a young woman, and a young Latina woman. In the closed conservative mind, that's three strikes.
This conservative guy loves latin women, in fact any women....LOL I'm not jealous of her at all.
You really think this is a jealous thing?
She is a socialist bordering on being a full fledged communist.
