Most people understand that taxes are a necessary funding mechanism in order to have the civilized society that we all enjoy. Only a small handful of far right extremists believe otherwise. So, my statement is accurate: your opinion has no basis in reality.

we spend the most per pupil of all OECD countries, and we don't even rank in the top 20 as far as performance

And thats when you should have choices on where to send your children and those choices should be free of the teachings of politicians.
Govt education has done much to wreck our society.

The Democratic-Socialism that Ocasio-Cortez supports is more comparable to Scandinavian countries, not North Korea, which happens to be a dictatorship.

Then why would Trump appoint a Secretary of Education that is hostile to public education? Why not put someone in that position who has a desire to see it succeed?
