How does single payer healthcare work if you have high flow of immigration in the country year after year? Serious question there.

Simple, put a VAT om everything like Canada does. Buy something, pay VAT on it. I don't know anyone who can go through life without buying a single thing or service

1 medicare for all is not singlepayer it is a 80/20 insurance with lots and lots of denials, and by Bernie sanders himself will cost 4 trillion a year or 40 trillion over 10 years (32 trillion ADDITIONAL cost over 10 year or 3.2 trillion a year over the 800 billion that medicare/Medicaid cost currently)

2. a true singlepayer (100% coverage for 330 million people) will cost 6+ trillion annually (about 5.2 trillion additional dollars annually)

3. our current revenue is just over 3 trillion.... just where are you going to FIND an additional 3.2-52 trillion dollars.... certainly not by just taxing the rich to death.....face it you would have to tax EVERYONE at 75%+

If people didn't have private insurance, there's an extra $4.5 trillion right there.....

or replace the current tax system (personal income, corporate, estate, sin) with a federal consumption tax

we don't need a VAT, ONTOP of our system, that is already taxing us too much

I am not worried about a Socialist being elected because it is too late we already are Socialist. Our food stamps program is Socialist..in fact most Socialist countries don't even have anything that extreme.
