First, we should see the tax returns because it's become traditional, and because the mere willingness to show them would ideally indicate that the president is "not a crook."

Second, luckily we don't have to understand them, because we still have a free press for the moment, and we can hope for experts. I'm particularly fond of David Cay Johnston, a tax expert who has been scrutinizing Trump's finances for years. I'd love to hear what he has to say. If you ever see him being interviewed on television, take a look.

What do his tax returns have to do with administration transparency anyway?

You have been brainwashed by mainstream media which is complicit with the Dems. There is no excuse for ignorance. Watch the many cabinet meetings and learn to think for yourself. You might get a headache if you aren't used to it but it will be worth it. You will be liberated from media tyranny. Freedom!

Obama has offshore accounts (his buddy Branson probably advised him) and so do most of the wealthiest politicians. Why should they pay taxes? They're special.

You've already seen one of Trump's tax returns, dear. Don't you remember? Your hero Rachel Madcow breathlessly showed you how Trump paid millions of dollars in taxes, more money than you could ever dream of but which pays for your Medicaid and food stamps

You are saying that is tax returns will not be looked at and analyzed by experts? Are you joking or what? Mueller has likely already had them gone over with a fine tooth comb and dissected like laboratory frog.
