Wasn't it congress that controls the purse ? Have they ever said no to spending ? DOH !!!
Congress doesn't sign the budget. Trump could have asked congress to pay for the tax cut, but he doesn't care if our debt rating goes to ****, he and his fat cats just want their tax cut
Trump the candidate was better than Trump the elected, but we've all heard that song before
Are you kidding? Trump has done or tried to do every single thing he's promised. He's been even a better leader than candidate. Nobody else has ever come close.
Cute story-except that revenues are at record highs AFTER the cut. As they end up after virtually every tax cut.
We don't have a revenue problem-we have a spending problem. And neither party will address it.
Revenues are at historic highs just about each succeeding year with or without a tax cut so that's a useless point. The real issue is the revenues would have been much higher without the cuts and the deficit would have been lower.
Revenue went from 3.32 T to 3.34T yet we took on over an additional trillion in debt while Trump increased defense spending and did nothing to address Medicaid, Medicare and SS.

I remember a group of voters on fox discussing who they were voting for and why. There was a gentleman who said he was voting for trump because he wanted to see the national debt clock start going down, which is odd because trump said numerous times he was going to cut taxes and increase spending.
The GOP is fiscally responsible like a drunken 14 year old is a responsible driver.
agree, and your team is no better, but hey running everyones life doesnt come cheap
