I am a conservative and I don't hate her. I see her as idealistic, naive, ambitious, attention seeking but well intentioned. I see someone like Adam Schiff as the Democrat who works for forces of evil.
I don't really care about her, tbh. I notice the media shoves her down our throats, but besides that, meh, she just...says things without thinking first. It's her biggest issue she should work on.
But she's spunky and cute, and Dems need that kinda energy. But her views are quite TOO far left for me. (heard she mentioned something about billionaires should be banned or some ish.)
After the attention ***** of the century has been given the bully pulpit and has been spewing garbage ad nauseam for the past 4 long tortuous years that is so detrimental to the nation as a whole, you are really going to complain about a true Progressive with great policy ideas having a platform and media attention. It is possible to be against Trump and against socialism...believe it or not there's a very large middle ground there.
Not sure if this is the media's fault or perhaps she is just a bit much. But while I respect her viewpoints and agree with several things she stands for, I find her overexposure a bit much.
She is brand new but is acting like she has been a DC staple for decades. Shut up, get in there, do your job, get some experience and then we can talk. The media really needs to back off too.
No... She, Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, & Chuckie Schumer, are the voice of the Democrats today, leading to 2020.
The problem is is that she's a dumb****. There are lots of sites out there that parse her every statement and fact check her and she's just way out there in her understanding things.

The problem with Democrats who don´t like her.. is I dont think you understand how far right the Democratic Party has been pulled. The Democratic Party now is what Republicans in 70-80s are.
She is trying to push the narrative more towards the left again...
You have no idea how your living standards have been reduced compared to other 1st world nations. Workers rights, government working for your, helping you, everything has been compromised by massive funding from ultra right wing donors. So the Republicans have been dragging the narrative towards the right with massive deregulations, less worker rights, and free access to politicians who have to beg for money 3-4 hours each day!!
Trying to listen to Main Street Democrats today is painful.. its like, don´t you understand how regular folks live?

AOC, is trying together with Bernie Sanders and his grassroots campaign to change the Democratic Party more towards helping the regular Americans.
The reason you people don’t like her is because you think DC is great and that the democratic establishment is fighting for your interests.
So logically you conclude AOC should shut up and become like everyone else. Raise money, work to secure corporate investments, and help protect foriegn policy interests abroad.
Sadly none of these things are meant to benefit you.
You are aware 99.9% of what she proposes will not even get out of committee.
