Guess fake news has consequences.

It certainly has been a tough week at BuzzFeed. A week after Robert Mueller’s office raised doubts about the news org’s report that Donald Trump ordered his lawyer-fixer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress comes word that the one-time poster child for pure-digital growth plans to lay off a reported 200 staffers, or 15% of its work force.

In Trump's economy, they should all have new jobs by next Monday.

We're booming!

Buzzfeed is financed by NBC ..... they have sunk nearly a Half Billion dollars in Buzzfeed in the last couple of years. Why should anyone care if they are going down the tubes?

Ya, but Trump jobs tend to require you actually work. Bad news for snowflakes. Liberals hate real jobs almost as much as the sight of an American flag not on fire.

I see nothing for anyone to celebrate or gloat about. I think Buzzfeed is a useless company, but I don't like to see anyone lose their jobs this way.

Don't feel bad-every one of them will get offers at CNN, NBC, etc. The same amount of sh*t is still out there, it'll just end up in a different septic tank.

If they don't resolve this shutdown, the trade war with China, etc...we may all be feeling the pinch.

Haha! Require you to work! That’s too funny.

I'm a liberal and have a "real job"; I'm a truck driver. And I don't like the sight of a burning flag. So save your propaganda

I've deleted their app. When Buzzfeed focused on fun quizzes and light articles, I regularly used it, but when they went all in on the identity politics division, I stopped using it. To each their own.

But I still hate to see anyone lose their job.
