So what? 100% legal. And this came out a while back, so it's hardly news.
Sorry, no. USC Code 1030, Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. Stealing computer data is a federal felony. Aiding and abetting the distribution of stolen computer data is also a felony. So if Stone was in contact with WikiLeaks and said something like, "We've got some primary elections next Tuesday, can you release some more DNC e-mails then?" That's a serious crime. Like I said, time to measure Stone for an orange jumpsuit.

Wikileaks didn't steal any data, and asking the question you posed is not aiding or abetting.

“if stone was in contact and said something like “We’ve got some primaries next truesday....” LOL, are you kidding?
In a court filing today Mueller said they were investigating Russian hacking activities and found evidence of direct communications between Roger Stone and WikiLeaks. As Mister Rogers would say, "Can you say "collusion," boys and girls?"
This is a HUGE piece of the Russia conspiracy puzzle. No doubt Trump knew what Stone was up to.
And Stone lied about his contacts with Guccifer and WikiLeaks. Time to measure Stone for an orange jumpsuit. He's going to jail.
Can you say "he reached out to them on Twitter", boys and girls, because he didn't actually know any of them, and can you also say, "We already knew this", boys and girls.

WikiLeaks was in possession of data that was stolen by the Russian GRU operatives, per US and Euro intelligence. WikiLeaks did not release the data all at once, portions were in a "drip drip drip" operation designed to inflict the greatest amount of damage to Clinton.
If Stone was in contact with WikiLeaks regarding the sequence and timing of the releases, then that is in fact aiding and abetting.

Communicating with Wikileaks is not illegal. That's absurd.
We first need to see what was actually communicated.
