You are the evil one. It is evil of you to spread misinformation, which is what you do. It is evil to want women who CHOSE to go through a pregnancy because they WANTED to have a baby, to then go through with something that doctors have determined will be a tragedy.

No doctor is going to kill a viable fetus. They will simply deliver. This fact seems to escape you.

Again, it's not necessary to wait until moments before birth to determine if a fetus is viable.

That's not a fact. Fact is that the vast majority of women who seek abortions tell us that they were using birth control. That they may have made a mistake and forgotten to take the pill, or that the condom may have not been securely placed on the penis, or that the IUD may have shifted, only tells us that they are human.

And the fact that you make remarks like, "Maybe you shouldn't be having sex if you don't want a child," suggests that you believe that women should be punished for having sex. Those nasty sluts should have kept their legs closed, eh?

There is no reason to support abortion until birth.

Even the Libertarian stance that I take on abortion doesn't excuse or allow for this absolutely horrific policy.
Spoken like someone who has zero knowledge of the things that can go wrong during pregnancy.

Well no, I can't agree, because we have no way of knowing that.

Legal abortions performed in licensed facilities can be documented. There is no way to document "back alley" abortions or self-abortions, or attempts to self abort via whatever old wives' tales were around then (drinking certain teas, throwing yourself down a staircase, etc).

We don't know how many abortions were performed prior to Roe. And certainly we have no way of knowing how many women wanted to abort, but didn't, because they didn't have access to an abortion, legal or illegal.

What we do know however, is that the practice of terminating a pregnancy has been documented since ancient times, with references to it dating back to 1550 BC.

Abortion has always existed and it always will.

That's not "personal responsibility".

That's making an innocent life pay the price for your irresponsibility.
It is responsibility. Abortions are not cheap or painless. They are not convenient. They are not easy.

People have sex. If you want women to stop having sex except when they want to get a child, who are men going to have sex with? Each other? People have sex. We are all (or most of us) born with a sex drive. We naturally seek to have sex, and we naturally enjoy sex. That's the real world. And there is no reason that women should be punished for that.

Conservatives act like women are lining up to have late-term abortions as a form of birth control. I’m sure they know that is false but it helps them push their narrative and “lying for Jesus” is totally in right now.

Things that can go wrong during pregnancy are not the definition of "viable" fetus.

To my knowledge it has always been legal to do what's necessary to save the life of the mother during a difficult or complicated birth.

But that's not what these new laws Democrats are proposing are calling for

And an Immoral one.

The entire thing comes back to their desire to institutionalize fundamentalist Christian “purity culture.” They believe that sex only exists for procreation between heterosexual married couples and everyone else should just be abstinent.
