Yeah these arguments are so foolish I feel sad for these folks. Course they see Trump say nonsense like this, and think "Oh hey, hes smart, I should repeat this!".

It must be frustrating to you people that you're not going to get your way on global warming. Common sense always wins.
That too, but what's more to the point is the interpolated data from places that don't broadcast hourly temperatures. Or if they have only in recent years, not going backwards. The problem comes when actual records are graphed into reconstructed or proxy records. There are serious charges of misreading of climate data, see Climate change: this is the worst scientific scandal of our generation. But when the warmistas are urging massive changes in lifestyles and drastic curbs on consumption, spoliation of data does not add confidence.
