And 58,000 have voted at least once since 1996. Nope no need for voter id laws....no border wall,no voter id...anyone grasping the point of all this yet? They can't get you to vote for them so they will just replace us.

The news item I heard, on the radio, said the non citizen voters were here legally.

Texas state govt has been firmly in GOP hands since 1996.

Why are the Pubs allowing this?
The state cannot require proof of citizenship on the federal form, the state is required to accept the federal form, it's simple as that.
They could require it for state elections but then they would have to maintain two voter rolls, two separate elections etc. It would not prevent someone that used federal form from voting for federal offices.
Impossible and it would cause a crisis to realistically arrest 58,000 illegal voters. I assume some of
them are now citizens, have died, or have moved out of the U.S since 1996 and that alone will complicate the whole process. U.S has a high incarceration rate, the best they could probably do is deport the voters (who aren’t citizens) and arrest the people who allowed non-citizens to knowingly vote. I have voted in Texas and I didn’t know non-citizens could receive drivers license to even vote. My question is how is that even possible.
I have been against voter ID simply because it affects older people disproportionately, especially minorities who don’t have IDs, but if fraud is/was truly this widespread (I’ll need more data on what they’d were voting for and where), local elections or ordinances/bills in El Paso were families straddle the border and some people actually commute across the border is a different scenario than Houston and Dallas and statewide and national elections.

My 100 year old Grandmother pays for an ID every four years, her and many people like her would of received a free ID under the Voter ID law here in PA. It was struck down and our spineless governor decided not to pursue an appeal because he was seeking reelection. These laws are a benefit to low income people already paying for an ID and those people far outweigh those that would incur any expense. At the end of the day even those would incur one time expenses obtaining are getting a free service they would of had to pay for previously every four years.
