Do You Believe in Man Made Climate Change?
Are humans altering the climate? This is a scientific question, not really something to "believe in". Yes, humans have altered the composition of the atmosphere in ways that could change the climate, especially in the past 100 years or so. This is known beyond any doubt. And there has been significant climate change during the same period. So yes, it seems likely that humans have contributed to climate change.

Many people and scientists are unsupportive of the left's politically driven "climate change" agenda, not because they do not believe the climate is changing, but because they know that it is, that it always has been, and always will be. The very suggestion that we should try to stop the Earth's climate from changing is truly absurd.

When these same people realize that the prescriptions advocated by the left are at the end of the day reduced to the left's standard predictable economic agenda of increased taxes, redistribution of wealth and much more government control with the left presiding, all they can do is laugh. And as well they should.

Realize that, by all means, but don't throw all credibility away by denying the science and claiming it's all a hoax.

When someone tells me I am not allowed to investigate, nor disagree anymore I get skeptical. They tell me the debate is over, and the science is settled. Then recommend increasing energy costs across the board, and a carbon tax, and cap and trade program must be installed due to this which would also be a tax. It reeks of government oppression, and wealth redistribution. More big government nonsense, and control. Yes, I believe it is a hoax, and a scam.

The first thing many supporters of this alarmist agenda need to accept is that there is a difference between disagreeing with certain positions put forward by scientists, and "Denying science".

The first scenario is actually a normal part of the scientific process, while the allegations of the second are rather obviously political in nature.

People who actually do respect and care about science will respect those differences.

It is not an "alarmist agenda"...It is simply science.

They argue, and accuse in the extreme. If you disagree, then you deny science, and are uneducated. They attempt to destroy your credibility through demonization, and impeach your thoughts.

And what part of "science" is all of that? I didn't know that was part of science. In fact, I quite confident that it isn't part of science, but of something else altogether.

No doubt, but lots of people on the right actually do deny the science.
