Why didn't the democrats protect them ?
They want them here and all that can get here they welcome.

What's with the word illegal ?
Dems prefer immigration and make no distinction of legal or illegal.

What changed ?

Obviously “ right thing” is highly variable.

Perhaps it's time to scrutinize computer programmers and engineers who have overstayed their visas.

He's doing the right thing nearly halfway through his first term.... amazing. He really could shoot someone on 5th ave and not lose supporters.
Had not the undocumented worker at the Bedminster property, blown the whistle, Trump Org had no internal controls to ensure all their employees, at all their properties, were authorized to work.

Kill the supply and the demand will dry up.
Again, I agree. But the illegals share the blame. Being “enticed” is usually not a defense, unless you’re are talking about entrapment, which is not the case here.

“Sorry SEC. But I’m innocent because the person who gave me the insider information enticed me into buying the stock by telling me the insider information.”

“Sorry officer, but the prostitute enticed me with her skimpy clothing.”

See? The “enticement” argument doesnt work for anybody else, so why the illegal aliens?

Rich employers don't hire manual laborers themselves. Those under them that do the hiring are the guilty ones. The only way that an employer should be held accountable is if they "knowingly" agreed to allow illegal workers to work for them. Trump has e-verify in his 2019 budget. The last time the GOP presented an e-verify bill the Democrats voted it down. Let the truth be known.

What cracks me up is, there are some excusing these employers because they would not make it without the cheap labor.

That is BS.

What is Trump the billionaires excuse?

The illegals are already being held accountable when found out.
They are being fired and deported.
Nothing is being done to the employers.

Oh, but the pro-illegals in here don't want to hold the illegal workers just as guilty as those who hire them. They're sweet little innocents that didn't know that crossing our border illegally and accepting work they aren't entitled to was breaking the law. You're exactly right, no one forced to them to do that they made that choice all on their own. The employers who "knowingly" have illegal workers on their payroll should be fined and punished and their illegal workers deported as our laws state. I have no double standard like the pro-illegals do in here. Illegals often use very authentic looking fake documents on their own to gain employment in our country. Without e-verify how is an employer to know?

Again, not disagreeing on the employer side. I wasn’t arguing that some aren’t being held accountable. I was arguing that they SHOULD be held accountable. It was implied that they were innocent in all of this, which they are not.
