Good, companies should not be sanctioned just because who one of the shareholders are. He also reduced his ownership in the companies and no longer controls them according to the link, which is exactly why the sanctions were in place, for companies he controlled. If he no longer controls them, then why have sanctions on them.
If it just about owning shares, well, someone like him probably has shares in dozens, if not hundreds of companies throughout the world, going to sanction all of them?
Trump operates with impunity. He feels he can do whatever he pleases with no repercussions . If he starts playing the pardon game with Manafort and Stone, the SWHTF real fast.

WASHINGTON — When the Trump administration announced last month that it was lifting sanctions against a trio of companies controlled by an influential Russian oligarch, it cast the move as tough on Russia and on the oligarch, arguing that he had to make painful concessions to get the sanctions lifted.
But a binding confidential document signed by both sides suggests that the agreement the administration negotiated with the companies controlled by the oligarch, Oleg V. Deripaska, may have been less punitive than advertised.
The deal contains provisions that free him from hundreds of millions of dollars in debt while leaving him and his allies with majority ownership of his most important company, the document shows.
Deripaska gets millions in debt wiped out, likely retains control of Rusal via pass-through stakes, and VTB - the bank known as Putin's Piggy Bank (and incidentally the arranged financier for Trump Tower Moscow) gets almost a billion dollars richer.

Not after the soon to be new A.G. report clears Trump.
Federal pardons are in the power of the President and who he pardons is too. Suck it up !!!

Confidential document, yet the media knows what is in it?
Yea, as if the media has never, ever, ever, been incorrect on anything, never made stuff up, never jsut ran what thought sounds good not caring for the truth. Gotcha.
When I see actual facts, not "should" or "could" or "maybe" and not "the actual facts are confidential, but...", then I might take it seriously.
Given the media just got an incident 100% incorrect even with video evidence, I will doubt their foreign policy news even more, especially if the actual information is confidential.

He's even tweeted, that he has the absolute right to pardon himself. We've all heard that. A grifter, a con man with his dealings, and in the back of his mind, knowing he can just pardon himself. God help us!
