Fastest way to get into power is to offer "free" stuff.

Not sure how these people plan on paying for all of this utopia they are promising. I think people should pay for college, something at least. People need some skin in the game. Personal responsibility and all.

I watched her press conference speech thingy this weekend and just on the surface she's well poised, speaks well and comes off intelligent and confident. Probably even more so than Obama.

The far left progressive message she's selling isn't clear to me how it will get accomplished. No one ever gets into the nuts and bolts often enough for my liking.

Yes, I definitely agree. There is a large segment of the population that today that has a strong desire to "stick it to the rich". The funny part is that these politicians are always funded by the mega rich. Look at Obama and Hillary Clinton, etc. Obama claimed he was going to crack down on Wall Street...and redistribute wealth , but the rich got richer under Obama and he's now living in an $8 million dollar mansion in Washington D.C.

People should pay something, otherwise they don't end up valuing it. The dropout rate at college's is already very high and if everything was 100% totally "free" it would be a lot higher. The dropout rate and how much is actually wasted is something that is rarely spoken about too.

The simple fact is is that not everyone is right for college. Not a slam at all. Trade schools and vocational schools can be tremendously valuable and not to mention typically less expensive.

I don't know why the Dems are embracing so much of this "free" mentality, like I posted maybe it is a sure fire way to get people to vote you into power.

The Dems are turning into nutters. Not a fan of the repubs either but at least the repubs seem to value hard work and aren't talking about handing out free stuff, free stuff that someone has to pay for at the end of the day.

I've got a co-woker that is a far far lefty and would love nothing better than for the government to control and regulate EVERY facet of life. From the top down big government nanny state.

Makes me sick and I sorta have to always change the subject because he drives me nuts. The problem is is that he's also my supervisor.

Yes definitely . Now due to so many going to college there are a lack of tradespeople thus the high pay in the trades today .
Just one example of several , I know a plumber that has done quite well financially, never attended college .

Oh yeah I can imagine that being very annoying ! The government already has enough control , it’s crazy people want them to have more control .
