Because fortunately we’re in such great shape that we’re able to cut their taxes for no reason

Old habits die hard for Democrats. They've always liked using brown people as pawns to achieve their goals.

the sooner the democrats just form into the american socialist party the better. that way a democrat party can emerge and embrace the center.

there is always a reason to cut taxes. Its called giving people more spending power and small businesses the reason to invest and hire more people.

Yup and that’s exactly what happened and has been happening since Reagan started it

The country has been shifting socially left....and corporatist\wallstreet right.

We have 2 political parties in this country and they aren't coke and pepsi anymore....they're coke and diet coke.

One of the reasons for this is that people will clap themselves on the back over their parties empty rhetoric and not hold them accountable for results.

Speaking of which, how did you spend your part of the "record profits" we took from the oil companies back in 2006? I spent mine buying beer for the guys that found Saddams WMD's.

Each succeeding generation of Americans tends to be more progressive than those that came before, Ms. Bennion noted, a trend that potentially poses a long-term threat to the Republican Party’s power.

Crow all you want. Eventually the 20, soon to be 21 trillion dollar debt is going to really start mattering, and there isn't going to be a dime for your liberal freebies and it's not going to matter what your progressive youth wants. Socialism stops working when you run out of other people's money.

Dont worry. Rich will still buy congress.

Make some leftish noise then vote to keep big pharma oligopoly power, or big cable TV power, or something else anti competitive and monopolistic.
