Can you imagine if it had been a straight, white, conservative male fabricating a story of being assaulted by two Africans wearing Obama HOPE caps in Chicago?

I will wait with final judgment/opinion until we know all the facts, BUT if he walks because an ex-Obama official called in a favor, then I hope the DOJ will proceed with charges for a hate crime.

When do you have to surrender your bond if charges are dropped and you're "exonerated"? You don't.

He's going to plead guilty to a lesser charge and the $10K is the fine.
