Apparently he received death threats in letters sent to him last week with homophobic & racial slurs so apparently this was a targeted attack. The FBI is investigating.

'This is MAGA country'? Really? I've never heard anyone on the right say anything like that. This sounds totally made up. Of course, I do not know every single Trump supporter - but I know a lot of them, and none of them talk like that.
Was it really Trump supporters, or people pretending to be Trump supporters since the last "racist Trump supporters" story didn't pan out?
IF this turns out to be true and these really were "Trump supporters" - I'm having a really hard time even saying the "IF" part because it just seems so fake - especially the crayon drawing in an alleged letter sent to him...gmab...
But okay, IF they actually were - that does not mean that all Trump supporters are racists just looking to take down some celebrity. It does mean that they are useless stains on this country and need to be locked up in prison for assault. "Hate crime" is a stupid term - no one commits a crime because they like someone.
But boy am I having a hard time believing this is true - "This is MAGA country". Who the hell says garbage like that. I know the left THINKS that Trump supporters all say that or think that, but the reality is, it would be very rare for any of them to say that, let alone beat some guy up just because he's gay - I'm assuming since they claimed he was - I don't even know this celebrity.
In fact, why would they single this guy out? Has he done or said something recently that went viral and brought attention to who he is? There's plenty of gay people to assault if they were so ready to beat someone down for being gay - so why this particular guy? If it was just that he happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time - okay, plausible enough, but he was allegedly sent a crayon drawing letter. Why? What is so special about this particular actor that he stands out to anyone?
