What are your thoughts? Curious minds would like to know.

This helps to explain why there is so much bias in the media...

IF YOU HAD A HUNCH THE NEWS SYSTEM WAS SOMEWHAT RIGGED AND YOU COULDN'T PUT YOUR FINGER ON IT, THIS MIGHT HELP YOU SOLVE THE PUZZLE.

ABC News executive producer Ian Cameron is married to Susan Rice, National Security Adviser.

CBS President David Rhodes is the brother of Ben Rhodes, Obama's Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications.

ABC News correspondent Claire Shipman is married to former Whitehouse Press Secretary Jay Carney

ABC News and Univision reporter Matthew Jaffe is married to Katie Hogan, Obama's Deputy Press Secretary

Ya think there might be a little bias in the news? Ya Think?

I think it's probably a little of both.

Even though journalists (who comprise a relatively small percentage of the much broader media") are supposed to try to remain unbiased despite personality conflicts with whoever they are doing a story on, it can be difficult not to strike back when they're being insulted.

I believe EVER time Trump has gone after somebody, that somebody threw the first "punch"

Trump is a COUNTER puncher.

Democrats are what "going high" means - we attack based on facts.

Republicans are what "going low" means - they attack based on fake news.

Just to make sure you're being fair and impartial....

Didn't the republican party relentlessly attack President Obama from day one? To include some Tea Party members of congress saying they would do everything they could to block Obama's agenda? Mitch McConnell said he would do EVERYTHING in his power to ensure Obama was a one-term president (he failed).

Donald Trump himself told a lie for nearly 4 years that Obama wasn't born in the US (Trump later admitted he was wrong).

So if you're going to say that Trump has been relentlessly attacked by the democrats, you would also admit that Obama was relentlessly attacked by the republicans too, right?

"Just to make sure you're being fair and impartial..." The Tea Party was a much smaller group then the DNC

In fact the Tea Party had NOTHING to do with Republican National Committee.

Was Obama criticized? Of course. There is a HUGE difference between criticizing ones policies and going after someone PERSONALLY.

It is well documented how the LSM NEVER went after Obama (or hillary) and how they have gone after Trump.

When 90% of the coverage is NEGATIVE toward 1 president and 90% POSITIVE toward another, that is NOT IMPARTIAL and the facts speak for themselves.

When the majority of coverage toward Republicans and his supporters is NEGATIVE and the majority toward dems is POSITIVE, tat is NOT IMPARTIAL and the facts speak foe themselves.

The variance between what you believe and reality is profound!

Could start with Trump's punches at Obama, for example, beginning with all that birther nonsense for starters. Obama didn't even recognize Trump at the time. What did Dave Roberts (manager of the Dodgers) ever say or do to deserve Trump's punch? Colin Kaepernick another good example. Regardless what you think about Kaepernick taking a knee, Trump decided to "punch" him personally without any personal attack about Trump by Kaepernick, and that's really what's going on with Trump and his amazing litany of insults, getting into it like an immature child with anyone who says or does something Trump doesn't like.

True, many of those "punches" have been in response to people criticizing Trump in what most people would consider reasonable and more adult manner. Say Rex Tillerson for example. Trump picked him for Secretary of State, then called him "lazy and dumb as a rock" after Tillerson criticized Trump. The ongoing list of Trump knee-jerk reacting like a fool is long as can be, and counting!

It's Trump that can't take criticism like a mature adult let alone POTUS!

It's more like "if you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen!"

Trump is just punchy and so are his followers who can't seem to see any of this.

Why?

To keep it civil, I'll leave it at that...

Trump is just a little child when it comes to these things. That ego will have none of it. He's already gearing up for his run stating, there are no Dems just yet that can beat him. At this point with the damage he has done. Pee-Wee Herman could beat him.

I like to think you are mostly right, but I am forever reminded that Trump should have never become POTUS in the first place, despite many of these same sorts of observations and blaring short-comings. Problem is, for too many people these sorts of Trump characteristics are what they prefer, and no amount of damage or embarrassment matters. That or they just can't recognize the damage or what's so embarrassing about Trump as POTUS.

Either way, given that Trump is POTUS, I am now a firm believer that anything is possible in America, including a POTUS that has no qualifications or place being POTUS.

Oh...

It could be because he's an ignorant, self-serving slob/criminal who's supporting the Kremlin's agenda right down the line.

I think maybe it's time you changed the channel.

All the Limbaugh/Levin/Hannity radio garbage combined with a dose of Fox News nonsense could clog a fella's mind. Maybe cause him spew hogwash about socialism! Marxism! and the like.

Carry on.
