The Trump Organization said late Tuesday that it was implementing a system to weed out undocumented immigrants who try to get jobs at its properties. The move followed reports in The New York Times last month that the president’s company was employing people at its flagship golf club in New Jersey who are in the country illegally.
He should have done this long ago, certainly before making his damn wall the centerpiece of his campaign. Hypocrite. He's only doing it now because he got caught.
Great that is a start but how good is Everify? Does it really weed out those that are illegally in the country?
I was listening to a Right wing radio show yesterday local to Boston and the host was talking about an illegal alien that had been picked up by the Police for a crime and he had at least 4 identities with matching drivers licenses and 2 mass health cards.
The guy was wanted for heroine dealing, fraud and all sorts of other crimes so instead of facing the charges he would change his identity.
Everify is a start but how do we really know that the person being hired is a legal worker and who he claims to be?

Despite all prior claims to the contrary, Trump's a typical 'good for me but not for thee' politician and the Washington swamp is as populated as it's ever been..

Maybe you don't realize that Trump has nothing to do with the Trump organization these days.
He said that hiring undocumented immigrants was not a problem unique to the Trump Organization, and that it “demonstrates that our immigration system is severely broken and needs to be fixed immediately.’’
As soon as he tries (if he even does) the corporate media will really come after him.

The technology gets more efficient/less expensive all the time, I'd guess fingerprints.
Trump supporters: "we hate illegals! Send the ones here back to Mexico and build a wall to keep the rest out!"
Trump businesses: employed illegal Mexicans for years
