I think, if you put everything else aside, that is one of the worst character flaws of Donald Trump. He is such an immature, insecure, little baby that if someone looks at him cross eyed, he can not refrain from going into 5 year old spoiled brat mode. He has no control whatsoever of himself. Not a great trait in the President of this country, although his flock think it somehow makes him strong.
Years from now, political scholars will be dissecting this period in our history and the depth of how horrible this man is will be discussed for decades. He truly is a wart on the nose of America.
Yet, strangely, he managed to outsmart all the 'smart people' who had been politicians for decades. They tried to prevent his election using foreign agents and are now trying to overthrow him. He's outmaneuvered them at every turn and soon they will find themselves telling it to the judge.
He's fulfilled many campaign promises in only two years compared to his predecessor. Career politicians are all talk and no action.
We need more nuts, it seems, if we want to get things done.

George, on the other hand, doesn't like Trump at all and says so. He recently called Trump a pathological liar in a tweet. Today, George is saying that the "president's stupidity knows no bounds".
I've got to admire a guy who isn't afraid to stand up and say what he thinks. He knows the consequences of his behavior may be the dismissal of his wife from her job. Go to it George!
Of course, we don't know what goes on between the two of them, but should you perhaps also admire that he has no problem with his wife going prominently her own way?

Conways is clearly an intelligent man, with a fair amount of legal knowledge. It is likely he can read the handwriting on the wall.
My guess, and this is purely a guess, is that he's trying to talk some sense into her, give her a way out of this mess.
