I'm not voting for Trump. But the Democrats just don't have a strong field. I like Biden. But he's 76 years old. Everyone needs to retire sometime.

Let's review some of the things Trump has done:

1. Say that a judge who has Mexican heritage is biased and won't decide a civil lawsuit against him

2. Suggest the Muslim mother of an American soldier killed in action was prohibited from speaking by her husband.

3. Suggest the former President was not born in the United States of America.

4. Suggest that three congresswomen born in the USA were not Americans and should back to their "home country".

It shouldn't strike anyone as unusual, Trump and his father Fred were early on the defendants in a lawsuit for housing discrimination brought after the passage of the Fair Housing Act in the 1960's.

This man is a pile of trash that somehow found his way into the Oval Office. Honestly, when he leaves they may need a fire hose and a shovel to get rid of the mess there.

The only reason other republicans won't speak up and call this what it is is because they fear retribution from his core supporters.

So?

There are no Republicans who've been vehemently anti-Trump? You're confusing Republicans with the Democrat monolith. The Republican establishment has been threatened by Trump since he announced his presidency. No news there. His TDS is on display. (Yes, America, as I've said before, it afflicts REPUBLICANS, too.)

And as for his being [gasp!] Kellyanne Conway's husband, maybe YOU should "remember"....Mary Matalin and James Carville.

Next.

Mary Matalin and James Carville are two complete opposites of the ideological spectrum. One Democrat and one Republican. Kellyanne and George Conway are both REPUBLICANS.

Regarding those 4 items.
1. Say that a judge who has Mexican heritage is biased and won't decide a civil lawsuit against him properly. Trump may have had a point here.

2. Suggest the Muslim mother of an American soldier killed in action was prohibited from speaking by her husband. Can't comment on this one, not familiar with the story

3. Suggest the former President was not born in the United States of America. So what? There were a lot of questions about his birth certificate -- especially his refusal to release it.

4. Suggest that three congresswomen born in the USA were not Americans and should back to their "home country". Those three 'congresswomen' are fighting to overturn everything this country stands for. Also that was only part of Trump's comment. I personally wouldn't have said it, but I'm cutting Trump a bit of slack on this one.

Oh -- almost forgot --- who gives a F--- what George Conway says.

Conway is correct. The old Lindsey Graham with the backbone and moral compass said the same thing.
People that say so what don't care because it doesn't affect them in the short term and many of his supporters enjoy the white identity politics.

Another good read from the WaPo

White identity politics drives Trump, and the Republican Party under him
Quote:
Trump’s combustible formula of white identity politics already has reshaped the Republican Party, sidelining, silencing or converting nearly anyone who dares to challenge the racial insensitivity of his utterances.

Soooo what changed in Trump to make him a racist? How does one explain away the decades of him being photographed at events with prominent people of colour? How does one explain that for decades before he became President that he hired many black people to work in all levels of his empire. Trump was colour blind then but he sure appreciated a go getter with a good education.

The fact is that Trump is not a racist but all this nonsense is a wicked game that the Democrats play to denounce an opponent. We saw the same type of accusations thrown at people that criticized Obama. If you didn't like what he was doing or saying then it has to be because you are a racist that didn't want a black guy to succeed....

When you think about all the tricks the Dems have tried, all the insults, names and "isms" they have thrown at Trump they keep coming back to the one that really gets peoples emotions going.

The Dems are tricky and no matter what they try to do I think they are going to have a tough time in 2020.

The problem with so many including the OP is that if they don't understand something then they slap the word "racist" on it.

George Conway is a Democrat controlled IDIOT. It is a tribute to Trump that he overlooks this jerk and keeps his wife employed. Trump has not done nor said anything racist, yet the Media, Dems, and their low information followers make believe he did!

Nice living in the land or Rainbows and Unicorns, huh?

The constant chants of 'raaaaacist' are unfortunately going to give Trump a second term.

Did anyone on the left learn anything from the Smollett incident? I think I'm one of a tiny handful.

I'm not convinced that Trump understands what it is to be a racist. He's led a very privileged life and doesn't appear to relate well to the experiences of most people of lesser means.
