Why are so called conservative even discussing anything to do with public schools when they hate anything related to socialism. Why aren't they sending their kids to private schools this way they would not have to worry about religion not being taught in the public school system.

Let them teach the Bible in public schools as long as it's in Kindergarden during fairy tale story hour.

Does no one find it fascinating or interesting in the least how religions developed, shaped and controlled societies, were the basis of laws, etc. even to this day they survive? Personally I enjoy reading how actual historical events aligned or did not with biblical teachings and how tenants of different religions align and diverge.

I read and re-read the title:

"Conservatives don't trust public schools to teach children about sex or science so why is the Bible different?"

What if I modify some parts even at the risk of receiving lots of flames and hard criticism that'll trigger some trigglypuffs and other SJWs when they check the following result?

"..don't trust public schools to teach children about sex or science so why is the Coran different?"

And from what I saw that article mentionned in an another forum, that's happened in a junior high school in Birmingham in the UK.

Students already learn about Christianity, from Constantine to the Enlightenment and how it shaped western culture in World History. In my opinion that is enough.
As I mentioned Students and Schools have different curriculum. You do not know what "students" are already learning about. Its an option, an elective class. Should be up to individual school districts to decide if they wish to offer it. Not you.

And kids already get fake news from the media, they dont need from govt skool teachers. Let people who dont want their children indoctrinated in your ungodly expensive broken education system, opt out and you can continue to "educate" your children there if you like.

Or..., simply needed to sign off. That too hard for you to understand or accept as well? I can't spend all my day deeking around in this forum and your "debate" certainly doesn't inspire me to waste anymore time here than I already do.

PS: I'm not sure I declared "victory" as I signed off, unless victory is simply expanding the scope of what to consider a bit, rather than just spout childish accusations and insults.

I think it's a guy, he's talked about how those evil Jesus lovers forced him to undergo conversion therapy, and, as a result, he can no longer function

The funny part, of course, is that Jesus is the only one who can actually heal him
