“Numerous states introducing Bible Literacy classes, giving students the option of studying the Bible. Starting to make a turn back? Great!” Trump wrote.

Might this be part of what Trump and his supporters have in mind when it comes to "making America great again?"
And the last day is good as bad bad is good. You have a free will if you don't want to take the Bible class you don't have to. If you want to take the Bible class you can.
It's an option you posted it yourself.
What is wrong with teaching the Bible to kids that are interested in it? We would have a lot fewer problems in this country if people would start following the 10 commandments or to simply follow the Golden Rule.
Why do you think FOX is slanted? They are merely presenting a different angle than most of the other networks. MSNBC, CNN, they are slanted at every angle. Maybe if we watched CNN and FOX we could meet in a balanced middle and be a lot closer to the Truth?
MAGA is for every citizen and Legal Immigrant. What is so bad about taking some pride in ones Nation and working towards making it a better place for everyone?
What has the Left been doing to MAGA? It is getting pretty ugly out there due to their failed policies and it is going to get worse.
There are more modern texts on good behavior to study in the psychological self help field than the bible. I'm not for or against this, I'm neutral. I agree embracing the ten commandments would overall benefit society. Simple set of rules nobody wants to follow, because monogamy is dead. Everyone covets thy neighbor's wife now, because it's programmed into our DNA to a degree.
Nobody likes being morally preached to act a certain way though... I get it. People don't want to be told what to do, how to think, whether it's dogma from the left or the right. It's good to try to achieve an optimal balance and not get assimilated into a single belief system, because then you are more easily controlled. People in charge love it when they can easily control someone, and get them to vote in such a way to keep them in power.
All politics is a stage play to win people over to a certain viewpoint. The fine line between order and chaos, between healthy checks and balances and an authoritarian dictatorship. It's always a struggle, if you really look back at history over a longer timeframe.

I as a Republican 95% of the time don't think it is a good idea. It is true there is a segment of evangelicals that want to push this with the Republican party.
I am anti-Marxist. What I see is a Democratic party that has become Marxist and they control the educational system that is pushing Marxism. It must be defeated. Most parents don't want far left or far right activism in education, they want their youth to become free thinking functional adults with critical thinking skills.
HOWEVER a base line pro-American curriculum should be in education. That doesn't mean denying or not teaching any dark chapters in American history but teaching it in context of what was then as compared to now. A nation that doesn't agree or believe in a base founding principle, is chaos. Right now the far left are indoctrinating youth that western civilization is wrongful by default.
If you are a far left Marxist and want your kid learning it teach it at home, if you a evangelical and want your kid learning that, teach it at home.
I like Trump for a few reasons, there are a couple reasons I do not, one low point of Trump was when he held up a bible to virtue signal and pander to the evangelical. Wearing your religion on your sleeve doesn't make you pious
Major problem is the false belief laws can control behavior. We see that is not the case.
Law alone is incapable of providing public safety and stability unless it is imposed by government troops as in china or NK.
Law cannot stand alone! It needs society to have a set of ethics and moral judgment. Ethics and morality come from community peer pressure, typically religions from community houses of worship, boy scouts, etc..
bible study mandatory is not the way to go and doubt it would be approved except in the hinterlands. however, there is a need and how a culture establishes a set of ethical standards can come from all the places the leftist government condemns.
The biden administration intentionally destabilized our collective culture by flooding it with illegal aliens who lived under a totally different set of laws, justice and culture. It is not a secret that flooding a country with aliens will result in instability. Women and children/young girls, are not treated well in central and south america. Defund the cops, no cash bail and millions of illegal aliens the inflation beat taxpayers support will ensure chaos.
The comedy spy show, 'Get Smart' fought a global conglomerate which tried to take down America, its name was KAOS. How fitting the socialists are using old TV shows as strategy to take over the country. Can't ignore, 'Weekend at Bernie's 'when we think of the election where Bernie was leading and overnight gave way to the hapless biden. The characters in the movie and in DC prop up a dead man as they try to convince everyone Bernie/Biden is actually alive.

America is a Christian Nation we were founded on Christian principles and that is an absolute fact. We have "freedom of religion" but that means you are free to have any religion or none. But it doesn't change the underlying principles this Nation was founded on. It's important to know what these Principles were. LGBTQ etc have nothing to do with the founding principles of America. Finally as said this is an Optional course if it was mandatory then that would be a problem since it could be construed as violating the separation of church and state, but it is not. As for Optional LGBTQ those exist in many States and for the States that do not that is the decision of those States. Just as States have the right to choose to have LGBTQ classes and not Bible classes. Just the right would complain about it and the left would say too bad. Those of us who believe in States Rights understand this. It means you have to Support even the States whose policies you disagree with. As long as it doesnt violate the Constitution.
