France, Germany, Italy, and the UK all have economies that are either shrinking at the moment or stagnating.

That is, the four biggest economies in the EU are showing signs that they may enter a recession and are for sure slowing down.

Mexico's economy is stagnating.

Canada is doing a bit better, but their growth is lagging behind the USA's growth.

Japan's economy contracted.

China's economy is slowing down and could take other countries down with it if it were to crash hard.

The US has a lot of positive things going right now, but increasing debt and the most overpriced of all major stock markets look troubling.

If the rest of the world starts to tank we likely will tank with them. We can't be having any more self-inflicted wounds that spook people like partial government shutdowns.

Yeah unless something happens to grow our economy and increase productivity somehow, we'll be slowing, stagnating or possibly retracting like the others.

The aging population of Japan, Europe is affecting their growth so we can expect the same as can China in the future when their 1 child policy boomerangs on them.

Yeah and look what the Left has been doing to him since day one. They have been grinding away at his legitimacy, attacking and degrading everything he suggests.

The Left is dividing the country along party lines and it is hurting the overall outlook on the future. People are upset, worried and depressed. They trash Trump but the people that are coming forward to run on the Democrat ticket in 2020 and their whacky ideas are frightening for the future of America.

The Left are experts at spreading Fear and it is working its way around the world.

Your premise is that the shutdown scared the world and is causing other countries to go into recession? That shutdown was a minor blip on the economy as a whole.
