Sloppy journalism for sure. CNN should take accountability and apologize. And they should hire some people who aren't idiots and can get at least basic facts right. Even I knew he's a Democrat. The stakes are high, screw-ups like this feed an already toxic narrative, and these are supposed to be professionals.

Ralph Northam is dressed in blackface and running Virginia as a governeor, next to a guy in a KKK outfit. You Democrats are just the gift that keeps on giving.

I'm surprised ChristineVA didn't mention this but Gov. Northam considered running as a Republican but decided he'd have a better chance of winning the Democratic nomination.
I live for in VA. There's NOTHING remotely Republican or Conservative about the man or his policies. Every policy and thing he does goes hand and hand with the liberal Democrat agenda. So yes, you're darn right he had zero change running as a Republican because he's a blue blood Democrat. Stop trying to pawn him off on us. Own it.
