There's crazy people everywhere, whether they call themselves "Christians" or "Atheists" or whatever. There always has been, and likely will always be.
Please don't use this as a reason to paint ALL Christians as evil, or that they ALL do things like this to their kids. We don't.
What color were the sob’s? Denomination? Mfers. Which state were they from? Were they immigrants?
Courts couldnt do a better job? Lots of kids are abused in foster care.

Being christian certainly did not make those "parents" loving. Apparently the christian god turned his back on the parents and that poor child. Are thoughts and prayers in order?

YOU can walk into a garage and call yourself a car, but that doesn't MAKE you a car. Likewise, a person can call themselves a Christian, but that doesn't mean they are "christian" in their true heart and mind.
As for your SECOND sentence, God didn't turn his back on ANY of us. To the contrary, WE turned our backs on HIM, right from the very beginning. We (Adam, head of entire human race) told him to take a hike, and he basically said: "ok, I gave you free will, and you said you want to do it all yourselves. Sure, no problem. Let's see how that'll work out in the end. Just remember that when the time comes, I'll still be waiting for you".
As for your THIRD sentence, ALWAYS!
I don't push and force my Christianity on anybody. Feel free to mock and slam me all you want, if you want. I laid out what I believe, and you have the free will to believe and accept, or not. It's your life.

Well then with your reasoning, that seven year old child had it coming to him!
